By keeping the nitrogen in the ammonium form which is less prone to leaching, nitrogen losses can be kept to a bare minimum.<\/p>\n<p>Dicyandiamide is broken down as soil temperature increases. DIDIN therefore releases more nitrogen as the crop requires it. The Ryegrass from the treated areas was cut and sent for analysis for N and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niab.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Protein content by NIAB<\/a>.
