OMEX Agriculture has appointed Mhairi Robertson as its sales manager for Scotland, replacing Gavin Inglis who recently retired. Mhairi is from a farming background and graduated from Edinburgh University in 1997 with a degree in agricultural science and is FACTS qualified.
Mhairi has extensive experience working in food and farm related businesses based in Scotland, including time as a trader with Allied Grain and in the wholesale solid and retail liquid fertiliser business with Yara. Prior to joining OMEX Mhairi worked for Frontier Agriculture for five years as its business development manager Scotland, specialising in liquid fertiliser.
“I am delighted to be part of the OMEX team, particularly at this important time when growers are looking for help to evaluate whether a move to liquid fertiliser products may be right for them. This decision will be made easier following OMEX’s recent investment into its supply terminal in Dundee, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to Scottish agriculture for the future,” she says.
